Behaviour

Attendees to FoL meets are expected to behave in a standard compliant with the Public Order Act 1986.

In summary this includes but is not limited to:
  • No Racism
  • No Harassment
  • No Bullying
  • No violence or threats of violence

Attendees are expected to wear clothing unlikely to cause offense to others.

Clothes including defamatory political, religious or personal remarks are forbidden.

Possessions

Possessions bought to a FoL meet are your own responsibility.

Please ensure you do not leave your belongings unattended at any time, if necessary leave them with someone you trust. If you notice any unattended items, notify a staff member as soon as practicable.

You must not intentionally damage any property belonging to anyone else.

No illicit substances or alcohol are to be brought to ANY meet without prior authorisation from a staff member.

No items likely to cause harm to others are to be bought to a meet.

Smoking / Vaping

Smoking of cigarettes or vaping of e-cigarettes is only to be conducted in a designated smoking area.

Where this has not be specified it must be at least 5 metres away from and upwind of any other non-smokers.

Smoking in the vicinity of non-smokers is permitted if consent is sought. If unsure of a suitable area, please ask a member of crew or staff.

Staff

Attendees are to follow instructions given by staff throughout the meet and are requested to leave the meet if unable or unwilling to do so.

Staff can, and will, issue official warnings or bans to any members found to be contravening these rules or instructions issued by a staff member.
